Last night as I lay in my lover's bed, I experienced a rare climax. I stood at the edge of the precipice and wept for myself and the many that share shades of my ebony skin. I wept for those like my father that have seen a man touch the moon but still fear that their children will be killed for the simple task of breathing inside of a brown body.
